Get in Touch With Us
Every message we receive is read by a real person, and many of the best improvements to this site began with a short note from a reader. Whether you have spotted a mistake, have a question about something you read here, or simply want to share an idea, we would be glad to hear from you.
How to Reach Us
The simplest way to contact us is by email. Write to info@stopswapgo.co.uk and your message will go straight to the team that looks after the site's content and day-to-day running.
We aim to reply within two to three working days. At busier times it can take a little longer, but every message receives a response. If your query is time-sensitive, adding a clear subject line, such as "Correction" or "Question about an article", helps us find it quickly.
What You Can Write to Us About
- Corrections: if a fact, figure or date looks wrong or out of date, please tell us where you saw it. We check every report and update the page if needed.
- Questions: if something on a page is unclear, ask us. Your question may help us explain things better for everyone.
- Feedback: tell us what you find useful, what is missing, or what could be easier to follow.
- Partnership or media enquiries: outline your proposal briefly and we will let you know whether it fits with what we do.
Helping Us Help You
A few small details make a big difference. Include the address of the page you are writing about, a short description of the issue, and, where relevant, a screenshot. Please do not send passwords, bank details or other sensitive personal information by email. We will never ask you for them.
Please keep in mind that we cannot give personal advice on individual situations or act on your behalf with third parties. What we can do is point you towards clear information and make sure what we publish is accurate.
Your Information
When you contact us, we use your name and email address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. You can read exactly how we store and handle this information in our Privacy Policy. For the general rules that apply to using this website, including how our content may be shared, please see our Terms of Use.
Thank You
We appreciate you taking the time to get in touch. Every message, large or small, helps us keep this site accurate, clear and genuinely useful. We look forward to hearing from you.
